This is me
|
My name is Tom. I'm the sophomore student of NCKU CSIE(Computer Science and Information Engineering).I grew up in Taipei, so that was the first time I left home and stayed in Tainan for a long time study. Studying with so many friends growing up in different place is an interesting experience.
In order to let my friends understand about me further, first I introduce my family to everyone. There are four people in my family David, my father, Fang, my mother, Tim, my elder brother and me. My brother is a student in NTSU. He is a funny and lively guy. Because he just one year older than me, we not only brothers but also friends. My father is an engineer in CHT (Chung-Hwa Telecom). He is good at all the things in electricity. He used to make things organized and perfect. Although that sometimes make me feel pained and stressful, it really help me to fulfill all works on time. And my friends often tell me that my personality is similar to my father. My mother is a housewife. Because she is enthusiastic about public welfare, she not only has to do the housework but doing more works which are related to public. For example, she has been patrolling with neighbors in the neighborhood or helping the head of the neighborhood to post some information about the neighborhood on the board of the begging of the lane. She also not gave up learning. She joined actives like “reading book group” or listened speeches in library. She was even fond of learning computer. We now usually send e-mail to keep contact. Isn’t she a fashioning mother?

In my high school life, because I had to go to cram school after class, I didn’t have much time to join a club. When I looked back my high school life, it seems a little bit empty and boring. Because what the cram school teaches was the same as the school class, it really wasting time and money. For the reason that I didn’t want let the tragedy happened again. I join a lot of activities held by department. For example the C-week , the C-camp and the C-new camp. The C-week, also called CSIE week, is an activity publicizing our department. In this semester, we decided to held C-week on December 10 to 14. In that week, we will sell some gorgeous and delicious dessert to the students who want send the dessert to his (or her) friends. Besides, we also will hold small activities like eating chafing dish on the ground of department and building a stage on the ground in front of FE21"s front door then letting all our department students sing a song on the stage. The most important of all, we will hold very big and fantastic show in “CK hall” at 12/14 night. Because I joined the C-week last year and I feel very interested and meaningful, I think this year C-week will also let freshman have beautiful memory.
The dance we danced in the C-camp

The C-camp was an activity held for all the senior high school students in Taiwan. We recruited high school students before the summer vacation came. Then, we had to practice teaching the lessons we wanted to teach all the students in the camp. We tried make ourselves become amiable, so that we could let the student feel comfortable during the camping period. The most interesting thing in the camp was that we would have a soaper. In this summer vacation we play a mystery story about Egypt. We made a funny and lively opening dance and unawares stories everyday. Because the stories were so attractive and the dance was extremely fantastic, all the students love it crazily.

Because I only have four years in college life, what I should do in these four is an important problem. I wish that I will never regret what I do, contrary, I wish I will proud of everything I do in the college life.
